Hayward was a fine seadog who spent most of his life sailing the globe. He spent so much time underway that he now has a wobble on dry land. Everyone accuses him of being drunk, however the only thing this guy is drunk on is Kibble and Bits! Hayward is a delightful boy who is friendly with all the dogs. Even the ones who actually are intoxicated. He just spend most of his time wandering around, waiting for people to compliment him on his adorable face. If you’re looking for a senior dog who will forever look like a tiny puppy, you must meet Hayward.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
He is sweet and very cuddly!! Such a wise boy. He quickly learned the routine in my house.
He loves attention and sitting right next to you. He likes to sleep quietly in a dog bed beside my bed but prefers to sleep in the bed with me. Either place, he sleeps thru the night very well.
Loves food! Crunchies and soft food equally. He is potty trained. I take him out many times a day, so I don’t know how he would do if you leave for a long time. Because of his wobbly legs, he sometimes needs a little help not falling when pooping, but he is getting stronger and needs less help already.
On his first car ride, he was all over the place, but the second time I harnessed him in the dog car seat. Now he gets in the car seat without fuss, stays put, and naps. He gets along with my dog. They are like two little brothers.
