Harvey is a sweet little puff of fluff who looks like a cloud that has descended from the heavens to make your life a little sweeter. Although he’s in the growth stage of his hair journey, Harvey is a Maltese who looks like the before picture of a hairstylist’s portfolio, and we cannot wait to see the after. Sensitive eyes peer out from his delicate white bangs, as if he’s a little unsure of his place in the world – Harvey is looking for someone to reassure him that everything is going to be okay. Petite pink paws tiptoe across the floor when he walks, as silent as a ghost if that ghost made tapping noises. If you’re in the market for a sweet, shy, senior, we can’t recommend Harvey enough!

Harvey is a very well mannered and affectionate fluffy little dog! This is his Day 3 with us, and he has never had any potty accidents. He knew from the get-go how to go potty outside in the yard or while he was on the walk. He is 13 but he is very active. He enjoys a long walk with our 2-year old athletic Boston terrier. He can actually keep up with our dog’s energy. He has no problem with stairs.
He is a velcro dog! He cuddles with us on the couch, and he did not hesitate at all to sleep with us on our bed the first night. He is not shy or cautious with new people or dogs–he goes right into saying hello and engaging them. Now he is discovering toys-he picks up balls and toys and actually shares them with our resident dog. A very playful senior dog, he is! We have two parrots at home that fly around the house and Harvey is not interested in chasing them, so people with small animals at home should feel safe with him.
