Yorkie alert! Yorkie gem Harley has arrived!
This darling fellow is sweet and friendly and of course very cute. Plus, he’s lived with children in his previous home and is housetrained. What a catch! Will you be the lucky one to add him to your family?
Here’s a note from his foster:
Harley is the quintessential older gentleman from a bygone era. He is one classy little guy who will tap dance for you and run circles around your ankles like Bing Cosby or Fred Astaire when
you return home to him. And, while he may be a Yorkie, he is no yapper and chooses his voice very wisely. You will only hear him bark softly when he is excited to see you or has been patiently waiting to get up on your lap for cuddle time.
This little guy is pure love. He immediately loves every person he meets and gets along well with other dogs and children, but is most interested in following his human from room to room,
in the hopes of being snuggled. Harley loves to cuddle and while he can be left alone, he is clearly happier when there are other beating hearts in the home with him.
Harley is spry at 14 and enjoys at least a couple of short walks a day and is still able to tackle stairs (up or down) like a champ. He has a voracious appetite and love of life. Since fostering
Harley, he has had a few potty mistakes here and there, but this has typically happened when he is startled after waking up from a nap and finding himself alone in a room.
He’s been through recent loss and gets anxious when he suddenly finds himself alone. However, each day he gains confidence and I believe that after settling into his forever home, his remaining insecurities will melt away, along with your heart. This little guys is so sweet, so special and completely encapsulates the meaning of LOVE. The world would no doubt be a better place with more Harley-love around!
