Hampton is a professional shadow who firmly believes that wherever you are is exactly where he should be. Need to grab a snack? He’s got supervision covered. Going to another room? Not alone, you’re not. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who brings nothing but good vibes to the house, Hampton is ready to move in!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Hampton’s journey to Muttville was long and extended and he is recovering well from a broken jaw. Hampton is a survivor and he is thriving with lots of love and a gentle kind human helping him. Hampton is very affectionate and would love nothing more than nice walks outside and soft cuddles inside a forever home with a human family that loves him.
We’ve been outside twice and Hampton mirrored my dog Buster to go potty outside.
Hampton is very affectionate and responds so well to positive verbal and physical reinforcement, He is able to use the pet staircase to get up and down in the big bed and he’s also strong and agile enough to be able to jump up himself. He’s putting on weight and is very happy and is very active and loving and it’s good news all around. Hampton slept right next to me in the big bed and did not move the entire night and once he is down, he is down to sleep.
Hampton is using the potty pads in my bathroom mainly if I wait too long to get out of bed in the morning. He is able to jump onto my bed from the floor. Hampton seems to be very hearty and loves his walks. Hampton is a joy to be around and he’s getting along really great with my dog Buster and everything is on track and thriving here. I can tell he has experienced a bit of trauma and we’re working to make him comfortable and loved and celebrated and properly cared for like the deserving boy that he is!
