Meet Hallie, the little girl who looks so cuddly you might mistake her for a stuffed animal! With her sweet eyes and soft fur, she’s practically a living teddy bear. Hallie is a curious explorer at heart—she loves sniffing around, discovering new scents, and saying hello to everyone she meets.
This good girl has a knack for making people smile with her gentle charm and happy-go-lucky personality. She’s ready to find her forever family and give them all the love in her tiny, wagging heart.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Meet Hallie, the sweetest little princess. She is a curious gal that loves to walk, her beauty sleep, and exploring her castle! She LOVES to go on walks, and walks with a bunch of pep in her step, stopping to give some intense sniffs when necessary. She is so peppy outside, that no one can believe she is 14! She gets so excited for walks and races outside. She can even jump on the couch. Tonight we went on a walk without my dog (who is pretty slow), and I could barely keep up with her. When we went across a cross walk I started to speed up so we would make it and she started LEAPING! Truly 14 going on 4. We went on a pretty long walk and she was still going fast when we got home, never slowed down!
When she is inside her castle, she is very curious and likes to check things out, or else she’s snoozing with her sweet little snore!
She also loves to snuggle, and every night she has slept snuggling by my side. Her vision is limited, but not totally gone! I mainly notice it because she startles super easily- so we’ve been approaching her super slow!
She doesn’t bark but is a little vocal if she’s not pleased (wants on the bed, you are taking more than 30 seconds to serve her dinner, etc), just like a little princess! Even though she likes to follow me around, she has no problem being left alone! Every time I leave the apartment, I come back to her snoozing in the same spot that I left her in. Her and her foster brother (also a prince shih tzu) have yet to even acknowledge each other’s existence, but she does fine with him and other dogs that approach her on walks.
She is also potty-trained! She is used to having many admirers, we went to the coffee shop and she was the star of the show- happily lapping up the attention! She especially liked an older kid that came up to give her pets, she got so excited and ended up playing with him! Hallie would do best in a calm, quiet household that is ready to make her the center of their world!
