Gumbalina doesn’t like to brag but she was the stunt double for Remy in the film Ratatouille. She is now a senior professor of film studies at SF State where she’s known for her popular Creatures of Animation class. Adusting to some slight vision impairment, Gumbalina loves to be scratched on her lower back but for obvious reasons, cannot ask her students to do that. Please adopt her so she can get her scratches in, and continue being the intellectual powerhouse that she is.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Gumbalina is a sweet and snuggly 12-year-old, weighing in at just 7 pounds. With no teeth to speak of (hence her adorable name), she’s all about those gums and even more about those laps! This little lady loves to cuddle, enjoys her meals, and takes her pills with no fuss at all. She’s easy-going with other dogs-interested but generally keeps to herself. While she’s not one for long walks, she makes up for it by being a champion napper.
She can not do stairs and can fall over on slippery surfaces. She loves to cuddle, be held, and sleep completely burrowed into a mountain of soft blankies. I noticed that she gets startled by loud noises, people reaching for her, and her own sneeze!
We are working on potty training and she is doing GREAT! I leave potty pads by her bed at night should she need to go but our method of going out immediately when she wakes up, before bed, and every 3 hours has been successful!
She is a great eater and sometimes need help to get the last morsels out of the bowl. She rides in the car like a champ and would be a PERFECT office dog for someone as she sleeps and is quiet.
Once Gumbalina is in your arms, she’s the happiest pup around. Gumbalina’s favorite place in the world is right in your lap, where she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion, Gumbalina is your girl!
