She’s beauty, she’s grace(iela).

Graciela is an earthside angel in the form of a playful, oh-so-soft snugglemonster! This sweet, mild mannered pup is shy at first but warms up quickly. She’ll be your little shadow, thinking every move you make is a new adventure (even if it’s just to the kitchen). She’s lived most of her life with one guardian so she’ll be right at home in a relatively calm home with someone looking to love her as much as she’ll love you!

Here’s some notes from her foster:

Gracie girl is an absolute sweetheart who immediately feels comfortable and excited to meet new humans. She is quite the character and has that big-dog-in-a-little-dog-body kind of energy with her spunky, fun personality. She is very smart, highly treat motivated and comes when called, knows how to sit, and is also potty trained!

Gracie absolutely loves toys – she shakes and throws them around like a young pup. She puts on quite the show. She is currently living with two younger, larger dogs, and she thinks they are fine, but she would rather spend time with humans. Speaking of humans, Gracie loves them.

She likes to follow you around and will give you the sweetest little kisses. Cooking in the kitchen with an exposed ankle? You’re getting some Gracie smooches. Sitting on the couch in a short-sleeved shirt? You’re getting Gracie smooches on your arm and also possibly a paw or two on your lap. Don’t worry, she doesn’t go crazy with the kisses. She’ll leave you wanting more, and she has shockingly good breath.

Gracie likes to be near her humans, but she will also settle in a comfy spot nearby or the next room if you’re doing something boring like dishes – blah. However, she does insist on sleeping in bed with you, but she sleeps through the night and is really quite compact. Gracie is aware that she snores and has described it as “ambient,” which we agree with.

Gracie is the perfect sized dog with the perfect amount of energy. She’s small, but not so small that you’re afraid to pet her and she enjoys relaxing for most of the day, but is fully capable of keeping up on an hour long walk with younger pups. She absolutely loves going for walks and she does very well on leash. She is clearly a “city” pup and isn’t phased by the sights and sounds of San Francisco including reactive dogs, loud noises, etc. Overall, she is a very easy girl and will make an amazing companion for someone!
