Wanted to tell you a little about Gracie. She was picked up as a stray and never claimed. I’ve had the privilege of fostering her this past week and I have fallen in love with her. She is my little Shadow and has fit in perfectly with my dogs and our routine. She loves laying on her bed by my feet while we watch TV or work on the computer. But she also enjoys exploring outside. And yes I let her sleep in the bed with us!! I’ve noticed that if I let her know I’m here by letting her smell my hand and then gently petting her she is more relaxed with being picked up. It’s when she doesn’t realize I’m there she gets startled. My husband and I gave her a bath and blew her dry and she did great. Obviously, she was groomed at one time and definitely a house dog. After napping I take her outside and she does her business. She is an absolute doll! Not sure how well she sees or hears but she gets around very well. I do think she is able to see a little bit. Hopefully, this little bit of info can help her find her forever home. Thank you so much for giving her a chance.
Gracie is believed to be 11 years old and weighs around 10lbs.
