Gordon

Gordon

#8762
Chihuahua, Long Coat/Mix
Male
Status: Adopted

Hey there foxy guy! Gordon is a pint sized looker, with a bushy foxy tail and a soft coat that begs to be pet. Could he be a chihuahua/Arctic fox mix? He’ll never tell! Gordon is always ready to be held and cuddled, but also enjoys prancing around on his wee paws to check out new sights and smells. This charming lad will hand you wrapped around those tiny paws in no time!

Here’s a note from his foster mom!

If you’re in search of a pint-sized travel companion, look no further than Gordon! While he doesn’t need long walks, he’s more than happy to accompany you on strolls around the neighborhood or to supervise your gardening activities. His doggie stretches are just the cutest thing to watch.

Not much phases this foxy gentleman – he doesn’t seem to have fear of bicycles or buses driving by.

Gordon is still working on his house training. He knows to do all #2 outside but is less successful with #1. With a steady schedule and continuing practice of signs for needing to go out, I have no doubt he’ll get a hang of it soon. Belly bands are a big help in the meantime!

We’re working on building Gordon’s confidence during his alone time and he’ll need a patient adopter who will be able to continue to help him with this.

Gordon does well with other dogs after a proper introduction, but does seem to get a little jealous if other household dogs are getting more pets or different food than him.

More Foster Notes:

Gordon is not scared of other dogs or new people. He is really good with stairs and likes to go on walks where he can sniff and explore.

He has no issues sleeping through the night and likes hanging out with the group when you’re home. Gordon loves to curl up on your lab and likes to be held and cuddled.
