What is it about a toy fox terrier that brings out the fake British accents and a hankering for a strong cup of tea, preferably sipped from a thermos near horses? Goose does it for us. Sleek, alert, very interested in a game of fetch, this handsome chap is a well-mannered fun-lover who is at home in drawing room or stable. He’s a good sport amongst his peers, and ready to follow suggestions from humans, especially when incentivized by treats or toys. He’s also frequently silly and highly entertaining, which makes him 100 percent irresistible. You’ll see.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
He is doing great so far! He was awesome on his first walk, with great walking manners as he stopped every time I stopped. Our car ride home was seamless as Goose is very comfortable in the car and settled right in.
When we arrived home, he seemed very excited and he greeted my 2 senior female dogs with curiosity and enthusiasm … possibly a bit much for them, but only for a minute and then I took them into my yard. He followed them around (also staying close to me) and went potty outside. My sister-in-law visited and he was great with her. Dinner went smoothly, (he likes food / treats) and he’s already quite settled in (so far, either on the couch or in a crate). Note, he’s also great with stairs, and seems very agile.
I can already say he is such a sweet, sweet boy … he loves cuddles and attention and he is also happy and content in the crate.
