Oh sweet Goodfella!

This sweet little boy is packed full of courage and sweetness! Goodfella came to us with a fractured femur and has been nothing but a great sport! His leg was surgically repaired and he is thriving! He has a new lease on life and is ready to start his new life with his new family! He is a really cute little guy and just loves love! He promised to be a very “Good-fella” and we know he means it! Are you the one he’s been waiting for?? Fill out an application for this guy today!

Goodfella is estimated to be 9 years young and weighs about 12 pounds.

Here’s what his foster has to say:

Goodfella is incredibly loyal and devoted – the Robin to your Batman. It took him a few days to warm up once we brought him home, but believe us, once he has settled in, you two will become BFFs. Very quiet – he rarely makes noise!

He literally matches your activity level throughout the day. If we’re running around doing chores, he’s shadowing us. If we’re watching Netflix for 6 hours, he’s snoozing on the couch next to us. He loves to play fetch but won’t annoy you to do it. He’s been on leash restriction since we started fostering but I’m sure he’d LOVE to go on walks and to the dog park! Sleeps through the night no problem. No destructive behavior at all.

He’s fine with dogs as long as they don’t step all over him like our blind ones do! He loves our quiet, delicate chihuahua-rat terrier mix and will even give her kisses! He’s not fond of the two blind Pomeranians who trample him while he’s on his bed!

His housetraining is going great! He’s learned ask to go out at the door (or will start pacing next to you if you haven’t noticed) and will take himself down the two flights of stairs to our yard to go potty. He can also hold it for 6 hours while we’re away at work. No marking tendencies. Also fine with wearing a male diaper if you want the added security in the beginning!

He LOVES his squeaky squirrel toys. He’ll chase them around the house and if we’re busy, he’ll take them to his bed and chew on them to make the noise. He is super smart, incredibly loyal, and food motivated (not aggressive), so if you have the time and dedication, he’s probably learn a ton of tricks and commands. Honestly, such a wonderful dog.

Watch Goodfella loving the backyard!
