Welcome to Muttville, Good Sir, is what you will say when you see this stunning border collie; you cannot help but acknowledge his stately and dignified presence which distinguishes him as a true gentleman. He does have a playful side, however, so when not moonlighting as a paragon of virtue, Good Sir has a bit of a goofy side that will entertain you with all of his antics. His fluffy fur surrounds him like a halo of clouds – his silkiness is majestic, befitting his overall regal vibe. Good Sir, as you might expect, is a polite pupper who gets along swimmingly with all, both human and canine. Are you looking for a touch of class in your home? Then, welcome Good Sir!
Here’s some notes from his foster :
Good Sir has been such an easy and wonderful foster to have around. He is truly one of the most chill dogs I’ve ever fostered, and I absolutely love having him here!
He is potty trained and does a great job letting me know when he needs to go outside, which is much appreciated.
Good Sir loves going for walks and is fantastic on leash. He does not pull and is very easy to redirect, so I can take him wherever I want to go without any trouble. He has a good amount of stamina and can walk for quite a while. Over the two weeks he has been with me, our walks have gradually gotten longer, and he seems to be getting stronger and more comfortable with exercise. He also has a playful side, if I rile him up a little, he gets the cutest zoomies!
He really enjoys playing with ball. He loves when I throw one for him, and one of his best qualities is that he actually catches the ball and brings it right back to me to throw again.
Good Sir is also a wonderful companion around the house. He loves being near his person and will happily follow me from room to room. When I work from home, he usually settles down right next to me and sleeps while I work. He seems very content simply being in the same room as his person. At the same time, he is completely comfortable being left alone. I have gone into the office during the day and left him home by himself with no issues.
He has also done well with my resident dog. They don’t interact much and mostly just coexist peacefully, but there have been no problems between them. On walks, he has also been great around other dogs. He doesn’t seem particularly interested in interacting with them and generally just ignores them and keeps walking.
Overall, Good Sir is such a lovely, easygoing dog. He is affectionate without being demanding, enjoys his walks and playtime, and is equally happy to curl up and nap beside you. He has been incredibly easy to care for and has fit into my routine so naturally. He really is the most chill foster I’ve ever had, and I think his future adopter is going to feel very lucky to have him!
