Gomez has never been one of the super cool, popular kids. He’s a little shy at first, and has always been more interested in strategy board games than making new friends. But once you’re in his inner circle, you’ll be rewarded with the all best tail wags, smiles, and head nuzzles you could ask for. He’ll even teach you his favorite board game in exchange for scritches. Good boy, Gomez.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Did you hear about The Adam’s Family Banished Dog, Gomez (named after Gomez Adams himself)? The Adams family couldn’t stand that Gomez was so sweet, cute, and calming. One day, when Gomez was practicing some peaceful meditation, the good vibes were just too much. They kicked him out of the mansion, and he ended up at Muttville!
He has quickly won over my heart in both the looks and personality department. He loves to find a comfy spot to radiate his peaceful energy from. Once in said spot, it may take some influencing to get him up for a walk, but once he’s outside he has pep in his step, and on a mission of sniffing. He also loves to say hi to other dogs on our walk! Him and his foster brother are peacefully coexisting, and he is very respectful of the fact his foster brother doesn’t want anything to do with him. When he hears new or loud noises he can get a little worried, and he does prefer a slower approach, so a calm household with no small children would probably be best (who could blame him after spending time with the Adams!).
He has yet to bark at the new noises. He did make it known he wanted to sit in my lap with a few little irresistible whimpers though! Last night he snuggled by my side uninterrupted with just a cute little micro snore.
We are having so much fun learning about this sweet little angel, he is truly such a calming presence and has the sweetest demeanor, he is going to make his new (post Adams) family so happy!
