Gertrude McFuzz, the Terrier pointy ears, used to be jealous of other dogs. She was never happy with her appearance and wished for floppy ears. One she could wiggle faster and listen longer. That is, until she arrived at Muttville and saw dogs of all shapes and sizes. They had different size ears, some long and floppy, some short and pointed, some were merely just a nub! She instantly blended in with all the mutts, and soon realized that she was just like everyone else! Gertrude finally became satisfied with who she was. A beautiful girl who had gorgeous ears that looked quite lovely on her. Gertrude McFuzz is looking for a stair-free home where she will be loved for who she is! We think she’s pretty perfect!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
She is doing great! She’s a really sweet girl. She getsexcited now when I get the leash out. She usually can go around 1 block & walks well on the leash, although slowly. If she sees a dog or human that doesn’t stop to say hello, she’ll whine a little, but forgives them quickly. She mostly just loves to hang out with her human. 100% potty trained and uses the doggie door now!
Her personality is REALLY starting to come out! She is a feisty little girl. She loves to play tug of war, and throwing her toy around. She’s becoming more active. She can do stairs & can jump up on my bed with the help of a step stool. She likes going for walks more, although she likes to stop and smell the flowers.
She got along well with my friends dog that I kept over the weekend. So proud of her!
