Georgina is a little lamb of love! Her little nubbin gets to wagging when she’s near her fave people (which is everyone!). This cutie is medium sized and ready for walks and cuddles. She’s sporting a very short hairdo because she was previously very matted. She feels so much better now and can’t wait for it fluff to grow back beautifully.
HERE’S WHAT GEORGINA’S FOSTER MOM HAS TO SAY!
Georgina (sometimes we just call her the Lamb Chop) is a sweet gentle lady who wants a quiet life filled with food (most important!), love, snoozing, short walks in the sunshine, belly rubs and ear scratches. Food comes first; she LOVES to eat! She needs to lose a little weight, so it can be challenging, but I’ve found a few small meals, using cooked vegetables to bulk them up, keeps her somewhat satisfied without being overfed.
She wants to be close and follows me around until I settle. She’ll be at my feet or on the sofa with me. She’ll sleep in bed with me or on her own bed. She needs to be lifted onto furniture or into a car, as she’s got some arthritis. The arthritis doesn’t stop her from enjoying short walks and she can keep up a good pace for a little while.
She is fine with our dog and doesn’t react with dogs on walks. I hear she’s also good with cats.
Georgina needs someone to understand her potty training. In my experience, she knows to do her business outside and she promptly relieves herself when she gets out. I’m starting to read the signals she gives that she needs to go. However, she sometimes can’t quite hold it long enough – think peeing on the inside of the doorway instead of a foot away outside. She also needs to go out regularly and often, so her family should give her easy access to the outdoors, set up a frequent schedule of outdoor visits, or train her on a pad. I’ve occasionally used diaper pants on her and they work really well!
She has lived so much life, and been through so many transitions, that she needs someone to cherish her for the sweet-natured, loving goddess that she is.
