This Garfield is different. He loves Mondays, dogs, people and hates lasagna. He’s a huge snuggler and loves getting noggin pats. He is most excited about a retirement full of sunshine naps and tasty treats. Good boy, Garfield!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Garfield enjoys a bus ride by sitting on the human lap. He enjoys short walks. Garfield has no problems going down the stairs but a little hesitant going up the stairs but with a little encouragement, he will do just fine.
Garfield enjoys the outdoors for 5 to 7 minutes and ready to go back inside the house for his regular and route naps. He sleeps throughout the night. First items on the list in the morning is to take Garfield outside to be relieved.
What motivates Garfield? Not food. Actually it’s when he hears the leash rattling with encouraging words that it’s time to go outside. That really gets his tail going! After his walk, Garfield can’t wait to go back inside the house and run to his designated bed to go back to sleep or reflect for 3 minutes on his past life.
He does not bark. With the right home, Garfield will be motivated to be more active and trusting. He will let people pet him with a gentle approach. Garfield is very shy and quiet but something unique and special about him.
