Gad is a gorgeous black cocker spaniel who truly embodies his name – this lovely sable cocker spaniel can often be found gadding around Muttville as he makes new friends and tries to scope out a tasty treat. Gad is in a bit of a need of a glow up but one trip to the groom room and this handsome lad will be feeling his best. He’s already out there strutting his stuff, and he’d love to do so in his new forever home. His shaggy ears and real dog fur boots combine to give this black beauty a distinctive look, and he’s hoping to tip tap his toes into a new family. Gad is a high energy, playful mutt but he also can wind down and be calm and chill.
Gad loves going for walks. He gets so excited that he might pull on the leash, so there’s room for improvement there. When he meets other dogs, he greets them with wagging tail.
Gad knows “sit” and “shake”. He is house-trained and does his business in backyard or on walks.
Gad has a great appetite and eats very fast. We found separating his meals into a few smaller portions slows him down. He loves treats.
Gad does well with handling.
Gad likes riding in the car.
Gad loves toys. He likes to play fetch. He makes cute little growl sounds when he plays.
Gad sleeps through the night in a dog bed.
Gad is a very loving handsome mutt who needs plenty of walks and playtime.
