Fuchsia, a tiny chi flower with soaring ears, lots of leg and many freckles, is a watch dog. Not the barky bodyguard type. The contemplative observer type. She takes in the world around her with wide eyes and an open mind, ready to bond with dogs and people who can be as gentle, polite and affectionate as she is prepared to be with them. A young senior, she’s got plenty of energy for short walks and leisurely exploring; loves a lap and a snuggle. Stairs are a mystery at the moment, but she might be encouraged to give them a try. (We suggest plenty of patience and chicken.) Come take a moment to introduce yourself and enjoy a dose of her magnetic sweetness.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Fuchsia absolutely adores her people. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, making sure she never misses out on spending time with her favorite humans.
She’s an easy dog to have around. She has a great appetite, settles in well, and loves nothing more than curling up for snuggles. At night, she’s perfectly content snoozing on the bed with her people, soaking up every bit of love.
She’s also dog-friendly, though she’s more interested in her humans than making canine friends. She gets along well with other dogs and mostly just does her own thing, happily coexisting without needing to be the center of the action.
She is sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing.
