Francine, Francine…how I love you!
This beautiful, agile, charming and honey sweet girl is so ready for a home of her own, she will literally melt your heart. After her previous guardians could no longer care for her they surrendered her to Solano County shelter where she was then transferred to Muttville.
Francine is a young 7 years old and she is so ready to get you out on adventures. She has shown to be good with dogs big and small in our cage free loft, and boy oh boy does she love her mohawk brushed…she could lie there for hours while you dote on her. Francine is just the perfect blend of pep and chill, could it get any better?
Francine is estimated to be 7 years young and weighs 16 lbs.

Francine makes me laugh. She is sensitive and very smart, and understands an extensive number of commands/words. She definitely likes routines and familiarity. She is not immediately trusting of new people, places or things but she can be won over fairly quickly. Once won over, she is a great friend and total sweetheart.
She has is a great combination of pep and chill. She greets each morning with great exuberance. She has fun playing/running/chasing a ball while play-growling and barking and she is a great walker/hiker. On the other hand, she loves nothing better than to be with her person and to curl up in your lap or next to you.
Francine does her potty business outside. At night I have Francine sleep in a crate and she is great about sleeping through the night and not having any accidents.
Francine loves to be with “her person”, whether that means going for a ride in the car, taking a hike, hanging in your house, or curling up sleeping in your lap. and going to sleep. She does a quirky little body-rubbing routine – against people, furniture, her and her bed – often while making noise, that I call her “happy dance.” She readily complies when you ask her “Can I have a kiss?” She behaves wonderfully when we are eating our meals – she typically just curls up and lies down in a dog bed near us and goes to sleep. She is a fun, great little dog. <3
