Foo Foo bopped one too many field mice on the head and the Good Fairy had to turn her into a floppy-eared, senior yorkie. Luckily for us, the curse is irreversible because Foo Foo looks much cuter as a very small doggo.
Here’s some notes from her foster :
FooFoo is a joy to have in our home. She has a very easygoing, happy, and confident disposition. She thrives on attention, and her favorite thing is being with her humans and getting pets/cuddles from us. She settled into our home very quickly and got along with our other animals just fine. She has great leash manners and loves to be out and about with her humans. When she’s at home, she mostly sleeps throughout the day with some bursts of puppy energy here and there. She loves eating (anything and everything) and overall seems to be in good health.
She is housetrained but does pee when she gets very excited (when we come home from work, or are about to take her on walks). We started to leave puppy pads out for this issue, and knows to go on them when she does get excited. However, we do make sure to take her out every 6 hours or so and haven’t had any problems with her going in the house otherwise.
Based on our time with her, we would recommend her going into home with an active attentive family that can give her the attention she loves. Great with children or other animals in the home. Several daily walks or a home with access to a yard would be a necessity. Overall, she is very sweet and would be excited (she’s always excited!) for any family that chooses to adopt her. Hard to believe she’s 8 because she still has that playful doggy energy and we know she’ll have a long life ahead of her.
