Folsom is a long, blonde low-rider who has it all: streamlined wiener body, pointy chi-chi ears, and a face that will make you stop whatever you’re doing and scream IS THAT MY NEW BEST FRIEND? Yep, it’s Folsom, and he loves you already. We don’t want to embarrass anyone, but actually he was just telling us how cool he thinks you are. He’s the sweetest little guy – agile and peppy and so friendly with everyone. Stop by and say hi!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Folsom is such a great dog. We haven’t had any problems with him at all. He’s friendly, happy, a bit goofy, very lovable. He loves to take walks. We go on a walk with him 4-5 times a day. Plus, he goes out to our backyard probably 5-6 times a day. If we just start to put on our shoes or a jacket, he gets very excited, thinking he’s going to go for a walk. If it doesn’t happen, he’s fine. He’s just pretty accepting of everything.
He loves to curl up under a blanket. He also loves jumping up on the couch and snuggling up to anyone who’s sitting there. He sleeps well, he eats well. He doesn’t look 14 years old – he’s got the energy of a younger dog!
About the only issue – he’s a bit overweight, but not fat. It should be pretty easy to get his weight down, and already he seems to be slimming a little, as we’re not offering him a ton of fatty treats.
He likes to have one of his perfect little paws touching you for comfort. His personality so far has been pretty even keel! He is calm and friendly with other other dogs.
