Stop the presses! Foggy is here, and he’s setting a whole new standard for canine good looks. This dreamboat of a German Shepherd turns heads wherever he goes, not just for his striking features but for the calm confidence he carries himself with. He’s always interested in what’s happening around him, alert yet relaxed, taking it all in like the observant gentleman he is. Whether he’s watching the world go by or joining you for a thoughtful walk, Foggy’s presence feels grounding, loyal, and deeply comforting. He’s the kind of dog who makes people stop, smile, and say, “Wow, what a good-looking guy.” And they’d be right…Foggy’s as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Foggy is an absolutely wonderful dog! Anyone who’s ever had a German Shepherd will instantly recognize the gentle, soulful nature he has. He’s smart, sensitive, and quick to learn… though he does best with consistent training and clear guidance. I think Foggy spent some time as a stray, so he’s picked up a few cheeky habits along the way, like counter surfing, raiding the trash, and sampling snacks off the street. The good news is that his love of food actually makes him easier to train! He walks beautifully on a leash, sleeps soundly through the night, and adores his humans. He’s incredibly people-oriented and loves being part of the larger family. Foggy plays nicely with dogs of all sizes, from big breeds to tiny pups, and he’s also gentle with toddlers. He doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive….no interest in squirrels or birds! (has not been cat tested). Right now, Foggy feels most comfortable when his people are around. With time and trust, he’ll likely be fine spending short periods on his own. Oh, and he is fully potty trained, he has not once had an accident in the house, and consistently only uses our backyard, which is great.
He’s endlessly sweet, always ready with a wagging tail, and completely adorable. With his affectionate personality and eager-to-please nature, he has tons of potential and would thrive in a home with a moderate level of activity – he is curious by nature and seems younger than the 8 years he has been classified as.
