Here’s some notes from her foster:
Flower Market settled in to our house very nicely. She is a very calm and quiet gentle girl. She loves to make eye contact (those eyes!) and lean on you for pets and snuggles. She is not the kind of dog that jumps up on you, she moves at slower pace than the extroverts.
She gets along well with my other rambunctious frenchie (Poppy), who is 6 yrs old. When she first arrived she tried to sniff Poppy a little too much, but Poppy gave her a little warning and she has completely respected that boundary.
She really likes cozy blankets and dark spaces to sleep. She sleeps through the night. Our first night she feel asleep in her bed on the floor next to me. Last night she did the same but when I woke up this morning she had made her way into my closet and made a new bed out of scarves on the floor of my closet!
She is a very easy going dog and walks well on leash. She doesn’t bark at other dogs and is happy to meet kids on our walks. She likes a sweater for cold mornings and LOVES peanut butter, lick mats and puzzles with treats inside. She will fidget happily with treat stuffed or squeaky toy for a long time.
She can do stairs, but sometimes is a bit floppy on them and would probably do better in a home without too many of them. She uses the bathroom within abt 30 min after waking up. I feed her in the yard and then let her spend abt 15 minutes roaming around until she has to go potty. I think you could determine her potty and schedule over some time. She is very happy both inside and out.
