Flicker is a retired amateur gymnast who hung up his leotard way past his prime. He’s a 10/10 in cuteness and scrappiness. He always has his eyes on the prize: his favorite humans. After many years of running and jumping, he likes his naps to rest his weary, arthritic joints. You’ll have a hard time getting this stubborn old man to stop vaulting onto the furniture as he reluctantly learns to use the mini stairs and ramps (though he can and does use them!)
Flicker is highly food motivated, and loves to hang out with you as you cook. He’s incredibly smart and loves to solve puzzle toys. A sniffari during his walk is his favorite retirement past time to keep his mind sharp, next to snoozing with you.
He gets along with dogs in a neutral space, but doesn’t like to share his food or humans; he’s best as an only child. Flicker likes to be where you are and will follow you from room to room. And as soon as you sit down, he’s right up there cuddling up next to your lap. He is working on being okay with you leaving to run an errand, but is training hard to succeed in his career as your forever pup!
Flicker is fairly house-trained, but also getting old. He will wait for you to take him out before he needs to use the bathroom, but accidents can happen.
