Just like the infamous Jennifer Beals’ character, Flashdance is a fighter while never losing her feminine side. She too has not had the easiest path, but her tenacious spirit and the will to live her best life, brought her to the doors of Muttville. She loves to snuggle, enjoys healthy treats (well she is a dancer) and just needs her big break. The one-of-a-kind Chihuahua will surprise you with how much love she has to give. So get up from the back of the judges table, start tapping your feet, take your passion and make it happen with Flashdance!
Flashdance is estimated to be 11 years young and weighs 6 lbs.

Flashdance is such a lovable cutie! She is curious & likes to know what people in the house are up to, following us around. She loves cuddling & being near us. She can get lonely at night & does love (requires really) to sleep in the bed with us. She does not take up much room in bed with her 6 pounds but she would be ideal for people that are fine with sharing their room with their pet. She is very calm during the day, lounging & sleeping in her bed or wrapped in a blanket on the couch. She does love active, long walks & is very playful if you’re up to entertaining her; she often doesn’t seem like a senior dog! She is very calm around other dogs, never pulling the leash or barking at other dogs at the park. We have not interacted with animals that are not other dogs. She was nervous when first using the elevator in our apartment building but quickly learned to handle it. This is generally true for her, she quickly adapts & is obviously a smart, fast learner! She is definitely house-trained & does best when kept to a few walks a day. She had an accident on the first day, likely due to stress, but since then has always done her business outside, letting us know when she needs to go out. She is such a sweetheart & would do best in a home with people around for a good portion of the day. She’s cute, cuddly & such a joy to be around. If either of us worked from home on a regular basis we would absolutely keep this angel for ourselves!
