Meet tiny boy Flapjax!

This little adorable guy almost looks like a baby deer! Flapjax, or Jax as we like to call him, has been through quite a bit of change and it’s going to take this little peanut a little longer to adjust to a new environment. Once he gets comfortable, he loves to snuggle and sleep next to you. He also seems to really enjoy the company of other dogs too and will snuggle with them, how cute is that! Flapjax is looking for a very patient and quiet mature home with parents who will understand that he will need some time to adjust. Once he knows you are safe – he will love you for life!

Here is what his foster has to say*

Flapjax is the cutest little baby deer in the universe. He’s very, very nervous – he didn’t eat anything for the first 1-2 days, and only just pooped last night for the first time! He’s slowly coming out of his shell – last night he snuggled with me on the couch, and as I’m writing this, he jumped back into my lap to snuggle. I think his back is quite painful, and he seems happier on the metacam and gabapentin. I think he’s going to be an absolute superstar, but will need someone who is patient and gentle. He has been great with Midge so far, and seems to like having another old/gentle dog around.

I think it’s fine to post him! We just need to be clear that he will need time (days, maybe weeks) to start to come out of his shell. He’d be best with someone who is experienced with sensitive little dogs.
