Flamingo is looking for a forever lap where she can perch, hopefully with accompanying arms to hold her, with some nearby cozy beds. This girl loves to snuggle! And blankets, all the better to bury herself in!

Oh, this little bird! I’ve had her for six weeks, after she was found in a homeless encampment and brought to Muttville. In these weeks, she moved to a foster home, got spayed, had all her
teeth removed, and got treatment for some digestive issues. She’s a trooper for sure. She doesn’t complain!
Flamingo is tiny, beautiful, quiet, watchful, curious and a little bit mysterious. She likes to check out new surroundings, and she’ll take a walk around the block, but her real pleasure in life is
burrowing. Her favorite places are under the bedclothes and under my sweater when I’m wearing it. She will remain in her preferred locations for hours.
Flamingo is not a demonstrative dog. She rarely makes eye contact (although I suspect her eyesight is not great). I’ve started to get the occasional tail-wag and she does like to be close
and in contact with my lap. Considering all she’s been through, I suspect that it will just take more time to let herself relax.
In her forever home, Flamingo will need: patience, nurturing and understanding and all the love she missed out on in her previous life.
