Firefly is a superhero lightning bug that loves adventures. Her powers include getting along with everybody, hearing food being prepared from several rooms away, and mind-controlling humans into giving scritches. Her only weakness is walking in a straight line on walkies.

If you’ve ever wanted to live with a tiny, gentle cow, Miss Firefly’s your gal! I can’t emphasize enough how sweet she is. She is naturally very curious and will be sure to put a smile on your face with her bright personality. Her favorite activities include going on long walks, peering out of windows, and asking for more neck scritches.

// AT HOME
Firefly has settled in nicely over the past few weeks. She was initially a little restless and vocal, but she quickly learned to settle quietly in her bed and these days I don’t hear a peep out of her. She knows to go potty outside, but does need to be taken out every 3-4 hours. At night, she snoozes from 11 pm-7:30/8 am without issue.
// OUT AND ABOUT
Firefly is an active dog who will be happiest with plenty of outside time. She’s a fast and strong walker who can power through 45-60 min walks with ease. She doesn’t pull on leash, but does love to pause and peer into any open door that we pass. We’ve been on the bus, Bart, busy city blocks, and I have not seen much startle her. She doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of high energy dogs, and is usually fine just saying hello and going on her merry way to explore. She is great with new people and so gentle with kids.
// ALONE TIME
Firefly doesn’t have any issues being home alone, as long as she is not crated. I usually let her hang out in the living room and she mostly just sleeps while I’m gone.
// PREFERENCES
Although Firefly has adjusted to living in my small apartment, given her curious nature, I feel that she may be happiest in a home with easy access to a yard where she can roam around and explore during the day.
