You wouldn’t guess that Fernando is a senior dog. He is always happy to go for a walk and will patiently wait for you to put his harness on, then he will do a few hops to let you know he is ready to go! He does very well on the stairs and even hop-skips a few when he is excited.
Fernando loves to be held, get belly rubs, and give kisses. He is also very happy chilling in his doggy bed while his foster mom works. He likes to carry his squeaky toy around and his favorite game is “chase me” in the yard.
Fernando loves to meet other dogs and is very polite at the dog park, even with the bouncy little pups. Fernando is a loyal and cuddly friend who wants nothing more than to make you happy. He will dance on his hind legs just like a dancing circus poodle for a piece of chicken. Fernando loves chicken!
He knows “sit” and “leave it” and is now learning “go to bed.” He would love to have a home with lots of attention and will happily share his home with another doggy friend.
We think Fernando is 8 years young, weighing about 10 lbs.
