Beautiful Ethyl is a tough, smart, lovebug. Despite not being able to see or hear much of the world around her, Ethyl survived alone on the streets thanks to her wits and strength. We’re so happy that she’s safe with us now and will soon find a forever family to spoil her with TLC and treat her like the princess she is. If there’s a dog-shaped hole in your heart, you really should consider filling it with Ethyl.

Ethyl is sweet, cute, and brave! Despite lacking her vision and hearing, she loves nothing more than to explore! This busy body remains curious and would do well with good access to a nice fenced yard or park so she can get her sniffing on! Even without her vision she will not let any bushes, flower pots, or furniture hold her back; she wiggles her way out of any precarious situation she finds herself, surgery cone and all! Still, because she is fearless she will require someone who can keep an extra eye on her to avoid any debacles!
Ethyl’s appetite is excellent. She thanks you for each meal by performing a short happy dance. Speaking of eating, she enjoys a good lick mat and treat-filled puzzle to stimulate her senses and ward off boredom. She’s also content to hang out quietly in the kitchen while you’re cooking.
As far as potty time, she’s had a couple accidents but mostly holds it until she’s taken outside to a nice patch of grass where she usually immediately does her business. She also barks when she wants something including when she needs to potty.
Ethyl is a wonderful companion. She snuggles close when she sleeps! She is a good road trip warrior and has done well with car rides to/from SF to LA. She’s also fine being carried around in a doggy backpack. Mostly likely she would do fine with cats as or any dog who respects her space. She’s had a tough go prior to arriving at Muttville, but remains a happy girl. Can’t wait to see her go to a loving home!
