This gorgeous lady has the most generous heart. Esmeralda is kind, witty, and independent. She is the type of girl who likes to help others who are in need. Esmeralda has two beautiful brown eyes with the shaggiest of hair a terrier could possibly have. Her floppy ears hang front and center and her blonde Mohawk is as pronounced as her wispy eyebrows. Esmeralda loves to throw fabulous tea parties and have Disney movie night sleepovers. Don’t mistake her for a girly girl entirely, she also enjoys a round of golf and hiking from time to time. Esmeralda is just happy being around the people she loves the most and making them feel loved in return.
Here’s some notes from her foster:We’ve had Esmeralda a little over a week and she has been the most gentle and sweet senior pup. She adapted well to her new environment. She loves to be around people – she will wag her tail and wiggle her hips to let us know how happy she is to be center of attention. If it was up to Esme, she would be around people all the time. She loves hugs and pats on the head. She is great with my teenage daughters, and does not seem bothered by other dogs in the neighborhood. When other dogs are barking in the neighborhood, her cute ears perk up but I have not heard her bark once.
And who said dogs can’t talk. She communicates with us through her cute little whimpers, whether she’s hungry, or just needs to go outside for a potty break. She has a healthy appetite, eating 3 meals a day, and likes to follow us into the kitchen. When we’re sitting at the dinner table, she loves to stare up at us with her gorgeous brown eyes.
She is house trained, and have not had any accidents in the house – Yay Esme! She gets super excited when it’s time for a walk. She seems absolutely content with a short stroll to the end of the block and back, but not before sniffing every flower/plant in her path – and then coming home for a drink of water and plopping on her bed for her nap.
She had surgery last week but has been the best patient – eating well, drinking water, and getting lots of rest and sleep. Even her snores are so cute and funny.
We’re delighted to report that Esmeralda is currently in a loving and caring home!
