Dreamboat alert! Just try not to swoon when you rest your eyes on Emerson! This Doxie gent has gorgeous wavy ear fur, toe floofs, and big soft brown eyes. Believe it or not, he’s as nice as he is handsome! What a catch!

“His name is Emerson, but he also responds to “Handsome”, because I just can’t stop calling out the obvious! Emerson is probably the sweetest little cuddle magnet that I’ve ever met. He absolutely loves being near his humans and has no problem jumping on to the couch and into your lap. The dude is a little acrobat and will often climb up on to the windowsill to bask in the sun.
Emerson has distinguishing tastes when it comes to other dogs. I’m not sure what his criteria is but some he loves and others, not so much.
He doesn’t love being by himself so he’ll need someone who can help him with his alone time training to feel more secure when the humans aren’t home.
We’re still working on his house training and he’s making progress but he will need to go out frequently or have easy access to a yard or other outside space. At least in the beginning.
Emerson enjoys short walks, especially through a freshly mowed lawn (so he doesn’t get swallowed in the tall grass!) He will sometimes get the zoomies, but is overall pretty calm. I didn’t think he was very food motivated at first, but as he gets more comfortable in the home he has become much more interested in all the food! Overall, Emerson is a precious prince and I would not change a thing about him! "
