Here is what Elway’s foster parents have to say:
Do you like a quiet home? Because Elway might be the perfect mutt for you. I don’t think I’ve heard a peep from him. His favorite thing to do is getting in a good nap. In fact, he has tried and tested pretty much every single dog bed in this house and we have a lot of beds! His second favorite thing is scritches. If you give him a gentle scratch on his lower back near the base of his tail, he’ll do a cute little dance for you. He’s not very treat motivated and prefers small treats.
He is also very friendly with everyone and everything. He fell asleep in my arms on our drive home after I picked him up! He gets along just fine with the two resident dogs.
He might need a bit of potty training, possibly with a pee pad. Sometimes he will do his business outside, but will have occasional accidents inside.
He will do well in a smaller home and he doesn’t need to be walked a lot, just. couple of quick potty breaks. Just make sure he gets a comfy bed and he’ll be the happiest little pup. He will fall asleep literally anywhere!
Bonus: We’ve been having him wear sweaters (he gets cold easily) which he doesn’t mind at all so if you like to dress your dog, Elway’s your man!
