Ellie is a classic dachshund and a rare beauty; a gentle elder full of light, magic and quiet common sense. A friend to dogs and humans, she’s a serene and affectionate companion, happy with a short trot, a long nap and the tender care of loving guardians. She’s going to need a lift where stairs are concerned, but if you need a calming vessel of joy with velvety ears in your life, it’s a fair exchange by any measure.
