I am having a wonderful time with this sweet, sweet girl. Electra enjoys short to medium length walks with lots of breaks to stop and sniff everything. She is such a curious pup! She is a relaxed work from home companion, a great napper and sleeps soundly the whole night through, preferring a dog bed on the floor of my bedroom to sleeping in the bed.
Electra is friendly meeting other dogs, and loves human attention, pets and cuddles. She is trusting and rolls over quickly for belly scritches. Introducing her to cats is like introducing someone to air. We have three and she refuses to acknowledge them. Maybe she has lived with cats before and considers them a lower order lifeform? In any case, I believe she will do well in a home with or without furry friends. Electra is a very quiet girl and has not barked even one time since being with us. And she does not seem to experience any problems being left alone for a few hours – there’s always a nap to take! She is a great water drinker and more of a grazer than a fast eater.
One funny thing is that she is somewhat camera shy – always turning her head away when I try to take new photos! It’s been fabulous hosting Electra. She is such a sweet and mellow girl!
