Uh oh! We have a doggo that might have gotten into Muttville with a fake ID. We only rescue senior dogs here, and Edgar has plenty of youthful energy. This tiny terrier-mix loves to play and trot around. He won best hair in high school for his iconic mohawk, and still loves to ride his vintage moped on the weekends.

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Edgar does NOT act like a senior pup – in fact, he seems much younger than 7, and has the energy of a little puppy! he is super social and loves everyone he meets, including men and kids. He did wonderfully at my office, and was very independent there. He’s potty trained, too!

He doesn’t seem to have any separation anxiety, and has only barked once since i’ve had him. He’s VERY interested to go over and say hi, but he’s also good about responding to leash correction. He’s not aggressive towards dogs in any way, :) Make sure his harness is a good fit because he will try to wiggle out of it when he sees another dog, because he just really, really, really wants to say hi. At home, with my own dog, he’s completely uninterested, so he knows how to take cues from other dogs who want to be left alone.

he’s gotten really comfortable at home, and no longer waits by the front door to go outside. he’s just happy to get cozy on a bed or couch. he’s also calmed down on walks, and is less frantic about saying hi to every dog he sees.

He has been an absolute angel at work. he must have gone up to over 50 people in the office for pets, and when he wasn’t begging for that, he was quietly napping in the sun. almost everyone said: "i can’t believe he hasn’t been adopted yet!

He’s a very smart and extremely friendly boy!
