The first thing you notice about good boy Eddie is his magnificent Muttville salute of a tongue! But not soon after you’ll spot that wiggly waggy tail!
Eddie is a happy guy with wags for everyone he meets. He adores booty skritches, tasty treats, short walks by your side and naps. Eddie has lived with cats and kids and does well with both.

Eddie is extremely alert, energetic, playful, and a naturally happy guy!
His favorite thing is food. Although he only has a few teeth (including the top two incisors), it doesn’t stop him from enjoying all treats. He cheerfully gobbles up his meals with his supplements and arthritis pill mixed in. Fortunately, he is quite active and such an avid tail wagger that he seems to burn off the calories!
Eddie is very, very good on a leash. He likes fairly long walks for a senior (1 to 2 miles) and walks at a brisk pace. He goes up and down stairs quickly and always leaps up the last several stairs two at a time.
Eddie is awake and active for most of the day (not a big napper), and whimpers when he is ready to go outside.
He sleeps quietly through the night on a dog bed on the floor of my bedroom. He stands still for bath time and enjoys a great deal of vigorous tail wagging as he is toweled dry.
Eddie approaches both big and small dogs politely and without hesitation. Eddie will hang out in the same room as our cats, but it may take him a bit to calm down and make actual cat friends! I haven’t been around many small children with Eddie, but he was very sweet when our neighbor’s toddler petted him.
Eddie would love to be adopted by someone with a fair amount of time and energy to devote to loving and spoiling him!
