Eclair is just as sweet as the fancy pastry…with less calories!

Eclair comes to Muttville from Stockton where she was originally found as a stray. She arrived to us clearly overdue for some major love and care. We are so happy we were able to take her in, get her feeling better and ready to start her brand new life in her new forever home. Eclair is a perfect medium sized gal who will make a wonderful apartment dog, and be just as happy living in the country. As long as she get some short walks and lots of lounge time – she will be a happy mutt! We don’t know anything about her past, but she does have a softer quiet personality and can be shy at first with new people. It of course is going to take her a little longer to trust her new people then some , but once she knows you just want to love her – she will open up and return the love 110%. Eclair is looking for a quieter more mature home with a patient family, and may be okay with older children. We just adore this special girl and know you will too.

Eclair is estimated to be 11 years young and weighs 23 lbs.

HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Ms. Eclair is just like her name – sweet! She’s a quiet gal and loud noises don’t seem to phase her.

Eclair has already found her “spots” in our living room and likes to sit in front of our couch near our feet. Toys aren’t really her thing but she loves belly scratches and head pets.

She also loves her sleep: sleeping late in her bed and naps cuddled up in a blanket. However, she likes to wake up on her own time (who doesn’t!). It takes a little coaxing (treats) to get her to her bed at night but once she’s in, she stays.

She’s done great with routine and is a good eater. She is doing well with potty training and continues to improve. She doesn’t do stairs due to her arthritis but we haven’t had an issue picking her up as long as it is done slowly.

Though on the shy side, we think with time she’ll gain confidence and continue to come out of her shell!
