Although he may be a stormy gray pug blessed with the name Drizzle, you will be hard pressed to find a mutt with a sunnier disposition. Drizzle’s tail is constantly wagging because every day is his favorite day. He’s got a lot of energy and is a rather spunky senior, with a zest for life and a yearning for adventure. He’s playful with other pups and makes friends easily due to his laidback and easygoing nature. Drizzle’s is not only great with pups but with people, he is a pleasure to cuddle and very gentle. Drizzle has been with me for about 5 days and is doing great. His confidence is building as he settles in to home life. He has shown a great ability to hold his potty. He sleeps through the night, but he does not want to sleep alone.
His leash walking is getting better along with his willingness to go a little farther each time. He does not like to be far from home. He seems to enjoy the practice on the stairs.
He is good with my elderly cat. They have been sleeping on adjoining pillows in front of the fire. He is interested, but not aggressive. I have not heard any barking, but he may whimper at first when left alone. After that, he settles on his bed. A blanket is required also, because he likes to fix his nest just right.
He likes to explore the yard, but he has not shown any interest in balls or toys. All in all, Drizzle is a sweet little cuddle bug. He is happiest in a lap or close enough to touch on the sofa or bed. He is a great companion who will bring love and kisses everywhere he goes.
