Dogist is a handsome terrier that has blown into Muttville on his next stop in the magnificent journey that is his life. One look at this mellow mutt will show that it takes a lot to ruffle his feathers – Dogist believes that there are no wrong turns in life, just inadvertent tourism. Where he is is exactly where he wants to be, and Dogist is enjoying his time at Muttville. Some of his stops are lonelier than others, so he’s relishing the opportunity to make lots of new friends! Dogist is hoping to settle down and find a place to call his own. This perfect pup is ready to put down roots and stop his journeying days, do you have a place for him to land?
Here’s some notes from his foster :
Dogist has decided the hard part of life is behind him, and honestly, he’s earned it. His ideal day is a stroll around the block or two, a thorough sniff of everything that’s changed since yesterday, and then a long nap (maybe several) on the couch. He’ll gladly go on a longer walk if you ask, he’ll just be exhausted and sleep the rest of the day after.
He isn’t the type to launch himself into your lap, but he still loves to cuddle and play when you approach him. Once you sit down and start scratching, he leans in and flips over for a well deserved belly rub.
He’s relaxed with the adults he’s met, curious rather than nervous, and nobody here has heard him bark yet. Between naps he still gets short, funny bursts of terrier energy. When you need to step out and he’s left on his own, he typically registers a brief complaint and then settles in for a snooze.
Dogist hasn’t spent time around kids, cats, or other dogs with us, so we’d love to set up a slow introduction and see how he feels about yours. He’s looking for a calm home and someone who wants a quiet, easy companion for a good long while.
