Ditto, we love you. This sweet little min-pin is a great walking buddy and just wants to sniff the air and go where you go.
Here is what his foster has to say!
Have you been meaning to spend more time stopping to smell the roses? Well Ditto here is your sniffing partner in crime. This little gentleman loves going on walks (literally jumping for joy when it’s time to put on a leash) and will sniff his entire way down a street, through a park, or along a hiking trail with you in tow. Ditto is equally happy cuddling with you on the couch or working off his energy fetching toys. This little man does have some anxious energy and would do best in a home where he can run around every few hours or play with someone/another dog for some physical and mental stimulation. He’s 9 years young but can definitely have some puppy moments where he wants any and all of your attention. He has also not shown aggression to the few children and dogs he has come in contact with.
He seems to be partially trained, sometimes understanding sit or stay, and I’m confident would be able to understand further commands with a home willing to put in the effort. He does bark when startled by an unfamiliar noise but again, I’m confident training can help.
He had a few overnight potty accidents the first few days, we assume because of the food transition, but understands to wait for walks to do his business. This little man has a little extra weight and would do best with a home that can help maintain his healthy low calorie diet and cater to his sensitive tummy. Even with the few extra pounds he has a ton of energy, can take flights of stairs like a champ, and is ready to get healthier and take on the world with you!
