Let me introduce you to Denver, a 6 year-old mix of Chihuahua and Jack Russell weighing 21 lbs. He is fully vaccinated and neutered. He is healthy no medical issues , Denver is generally independent and gets along with other pets, whether cats or dogs, though he prefers to keep to himself.
He isn’t particularly fond of children and doesn’t enjoy being picked up, making him a better fit for families with older kids. Denver is quite quiet, only barking when someone is at the door.
While he spends most of his day outside due to my work, he sleeps indoors. He enjoys car rides and walks in low-traffic areas, as he can get anxious around too many cars. Denver is shy and takes a few days to warm up to new people, but once he does, he shows a lot of affection.
Unfortunately, the shelter believes his shyness makes him unsuitable for adoption, which puts him at risk of euthanasia.
This is a courtesy post. Denver! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Denver! and want to learn more about him, please contact: lorispereda650@gmail.com.
