CAUTION: adopting this cutie could cause permanent damage to your social life. Dennis is so perfect, you’ll never want to leave him alone again. Dennis would love nothing more than to curl up in a ball on your lap. If you’re not sitting, that’s okay. He will just follow you from room to room.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Dennis is a loyal, affectionate, and alert companion who’s ready to find his forever family. He’s potty trained and does a great job letting you know when it’s time to go outside. Once bonded, Dennis loves being close and involved in daily life, whether that’s joining you for a walk, hanging out at home, or curling up for a cuddle and some belly rubs.
He enjoys moderate walks, exploring new scents, and a bit of playtime. After a stroll, he often gets the zoomies, then happily settles in for a meal or nap. Dennis is a champion snuggler, loves lounging nearby, and thrives when he feels included in the activity around him.
When meeting new people, Dennis can be a little cautious or startled at first, but he quickly relaxes and disengages. He did wonderfully for his bath very calm and content as long as someone was with him — showing just how trusting he can be once he feels secure.
At night, Dennis sleeps soundly on his dog bed and makes himself right at home. Indoors, he loves a good game of fetch in safe spaces, though outside play can sometimes be distracting with all the sights and sounds.
Dennis has learned to wait patiently on the couch or bed until his people return. Like many rescue dogs, he may need some time and patience to fully trust that his family will always come back. But once he does, his love and loyalty shine through.
Dennis is looking for a home that will give him the reassurance, structure, and companionship he deserves. With consistency and care, he’ll reward you with endless cuddles, laughter, and devotion.
