Welcome to Muttville, little Denali! This very sweet chihuahua sports a short coat that proved ineffective when he attempted to summit yet another mountain in the lower 48. His original goal was seven 10,000. foot peaks by the time he was seven. But now that he’s heading into his eighth circle around the sun, Denali has decided a quieter life might be just the ticket. Like many adventurous spirits, he’s a little shy at first, but warms up quickly to fellow pups and people! He’s happy to go on some lively jaunts. But this mellow pup is also looking for the perfect person to relax with in a warm patch of sun. Denali is waiting for you to come visit with him! And when you do, be ready to listen to some of his very entertaining campfire stories.

Denali is a sweetheart, he is very loving, loves being around people, loves scratchies and affection. He enjoys walks – especially when the sun’s out. He’s curious during walks. He’s gotten used to a walk schedule so he knows that’s his opportunity for potty breaks. So far, he’s done really well with a few short walks a day.
This boy gets very excited about meal time, he’s definitely a foodie! Denali loves cuddles, he would like to cuddle next to his person all day, but when he can’t sidle up to his person, he’ll opt to cuddle into a blanket. He takes his time to set up a little nest before settling in for a good nap.
He also enjoys basking in sunshine – sunny windows are great! In the morning he’s happy to greet the day with you and would love morning pets and scratchies.
