Dasher is estimated to be 12 years old and weighs 11 lbs.

Dasher’s foster mom has these sweet things to say about him:

“Dasher is a sweet little boy who likes to sit on your lap (at least for a short time). He is very alert and follows me when I leave the room. He is a good car rider and a good eater, and the only time I heard him bark was when I was too slow dishing up his dinner. He seems fine when you leave him home alone.

He has a lot of energy, sets a brisk pace on his walks, and likes to play with toys. He can jump on and off a chair or the bed (with the help of a foot stool) so I assume he would do fine with stairs.

Dasher gets along with all people and dogs. I think he would love to play with another dog but unfortunately my dog is just not interested. I have not seen him with cats, though he ignores squirrels on our walks.

Dasher does seem to flinch if you reach toward him suddenly but is getting better about it. However you do have to watch him so he does not “dash” out the front door.

Dasher had a few accidents when I first brought him home and did attempt marking territory, but he has done very well since we got on the same schedule. He sleeps through the night, though he seems to like an early morning potty break. He plays with small soft toys by tossing them in the air and will chase them or a small ball if you throw them. He’s just not that good at bringing them back.

He naps in a dog bed, on my bed, or under the table next to my chair. He would be a great addition to your household as he is easy to care for and just wants to please you and be loved.”
