D’arcy Drollinger is a beautiful queen who looks more like a lamb than a dog. If you’ve been wanting to adopt a friendly sheep but aren’t legally allowed to own any hoofed animals, D’arcy is the perfect solution for you. This little girl is sweet, affectionate, and has great style. D’arcy is a little big deaf, but don’t worry-she can still sing with perfect pitch.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Have you ever seen a 7lb lamb? Darling, gentle D’arcy is the sweetest little poodle granny you ever did see. The energy she emanates is pure love and total sweetness. She loves to be with her people. She wants to be next to you as much as possible and after all she has likely been through in her life, she deserves the most tender loving care.
D’arcy loves napping, but when she is not napping, she is very much the little explorer. She loves going out into my yard throughout the day just to take a look around, and we have been taking two walks a day at the local park where there is plenty of grass and shade and yummy things to smell. She is quite spry when she walks and I always let her set the pace.
D’arcy is perfect with other dogs, but because, as we know, not all other dogs are dog friendly, I am always discerning about the meet and greet, as D’arcy is a dainty little darling girl. D’arcy looooves her food!!! She also loves her soft treats.
D’arcy potties on pee pee pads, even though she has access to the outside almost all day. That was likely what was required of her in her previous home.
D’arcy would be really well-matched with a calm and gentle household where someone is home often. She would do great with a dog sibling! D’arcy would love to spend her retirement in a home where she can cuddle with you, nap, take D’arcy-paced walks, nap more, eat her yummy food, cuddle some more and repeat :)
Are you her perfect, special home? Anyone will be lucky to adopt this beautiful little poodl-y bundle of sweetness
