Daddy Long Legs

This big boy’s name would be a cruel joke if the truth about his legs wasn’t part of his vast charm. Daddy is a Basset Hound. His legs are actually very short, stout, and draped in wrinkles. Nearly hidden beneath his tank-like chassis, they end in skillet-sized paws and massive pads that probably give him an extra half-inch of height. His ears are floor-length privacy curtains of unspeakable softness. There are jowls, flaps, and folds too numerous to mention. This is not to say there is no length in the equation. This galoot is very long of tail and snout, and goes the full distance when it comes to sweetness.
