Curly is one cool dude!

Cute Curly is a senior – but we can’t believe it! He is a bouncy happy guy with lots of pep in his step! Curly is a super sweet poodle who make a great addition to any home where he can be the king of his castle.

Curly loves his people so much, he enjoys getting pets and snuggles! Curly would make a great walking buddy and enjoys the great outdoors. And, well, he has the best hair. He can be fluffy, rock a mohawk, or really anything looks cute on him! Because he’s so into his people, he’d love someone who is home a lot and doesn’t have other dogs.

HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Curly is such a sweetheart and wants to go to a home that will give him tons of love! He loves being by his person’s side at all times and adores any pets and belly rubs he receives. He knows how to make you feel so loved as well, as he always gets excited when you walk through the door. He has been good with every person he’s met so far. However, he does get a little anxious when he is alone, so he would do best with someone who is at home a lot.

When he is at home, he enjoys lounging on the couch next to his favorite person (or if you are in the middle of a core workout, he will gladly sit in your lap!). He is overall a quiet dog but will alert you if he hears or smells something outside at night, like a good dog should! He’ll give you a little whimper when he wants your attention. Besides being cuddled up next to you, he LOVES going on walks! You would never guess he’s 10 years old because he still has a pep in his step after 2 hours of walking. He’s quite the adventurer and enjoys seeking out plants to sniff and mark.

He has been around another dog frequently (small, black, male poodle), and while Curly tolerates him it would be best for him to go to a home with no other dogs. He does though get along with other dogs he sees on walks and always wants to say hi.

We are working on his house training and he’s doing much better, he’s had so much change in his life lately, it’s understandable that he isn’t perfect yet! He does usually wait to go potty once he’s outside.
