A handsome gent of the Jack Russell variety, Cumberland was a little disheveled following a rough patch of stray life, but there was no hiding his Dapper Dan refinement and youthful spirit. Leggy and curious, he’s agile enough to hop on a table (probably just a flex), go for walkies, and mingle energetically with dog and human friends. He’s great in a car and mild-mannered in social settings, where he will take a treat with admirable restraint. Basically, a classy heartthrob ready to settle into the tender security of a forever home. Like yours.

Cumberland is the ultimate ""peacekeeper""—he is incredibly chill with every dog he meets, regardless of their size. Though he’s currently putting on some healthy weight from his time on the streets, his soulful eyes and love for belly rubs shine through it all. He is looking for a forever home that appreciates a dog with a bit of character and a whole lot of heart.
