Sweet little Crooner is a soft-eyed angel sent directly to be your new life-long buddy. He is 13 years young and enjoys soft pets, good sniffs, and other doggo friends. Sounds like a pretty good retirement, Crooner!

Here is what his foster has to say:

Crooner is an extremely sweet boy! He weighs about 13 1/2 pounds and can see well though his hearing is pretty much gone.

He is bright and attentive, and loves to be with his person but he has done well with us where he and the resident dogs are alone during the workday. With access to outdoors, he is house trained and good for about 5 to 6 hours.

Crooner has a little hitch to his gait and stumbles a little bit but can negotiate short flight of stairs that are not very steep. He would be best in a home that does not have more than about 4-6 steps in a flight. Also he needs stairs to be textured as he will slip and fall on wooden steps. Because he sometimes drags his back feet, he has been outfitted with little booties to protect his toes when going on walks.

He is unable to jump onto furniture because of impairments with his back legs but he can jump off low furniture safely onto carpet or a dog pillow. That said, he is comfortable being picked up to be lifted onto the sofa or the bed

Crooner loves going for walks and thoroughly enjoys sniffing everything along the way. He definitely stops to smell ALL the roses! His other hobbies include playing with toys!

Currently he lives with one human and two other dogs, but he would do well in any household with people who were cautious with him because of his hearing impairment. He likes all people including kids, and he likes all dogs. He has not been cat tested but may do well with a slow introduction.

Crooner is sweet and affectionate and will give puppy kisses right on the smacker! He deserves a soft place to land for his golden years!!
